Fort Scott is where I learned to be mentally tough. It’s where I learned to believe in myself. It’s where I learned to persevere and overcome adversity, even if it’s self-inflicted.
I made a huge mistake not focusing more on my education in high school and as a result, this South Florida boy landed at a tiny school in the small town of Fort Scott, Kansas. And it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.’
